We don't all have the same access to things or the same opportunities or the same life path or the same types of intelligence - of which there are multiple - but that doesn't mean our potential and cognition is somehow less than others.
Those who attempt to define the value of others by the perceived importance of the categories or groups that they themselves benefit from being a part of only show their privilege and lack of consideration of the reality of those outside of themselves.
No one is less than for achieving at different rates.
No one is less than for having a different type of education.
There are 9 - 12 types of intelligence and criteria for measuring said intelligence. There are multiple types of cognition that neurotypical and neurodivergent people assess the world with.
No one is less than for not having what you have or not having the experience you had or not seeing things the way you do.
We are all unique and there is value in that uniqueness.
Share yourself. Share your beliefs. Share your thoughts. Share your feelings. Offer up all the things you are passionate about. Share your positivity. Share your theories. Share your ideas. Share your experience.
But we aren't all going to find it to be of the same value and that is OK. That is more than OK.
It doesn't make us less than.
What moves you may not move me. What stirs up my passions may not light a fire under you. Where I gain inspiration and insight may be meaningless to you. Where you find strength may be a trigger for me. Everyone is different.
The whole point is to LEARN and LISTEN and HONOR and RECOGNIZE each other.
Not to say ... you're less than me because you don't believe as I do, because you're not as educated as I am, because you're not this or not that ... or don't have this or that.
That's just wrong.
@thewebrecluse Thank you and bless you.
@jackge Thanks for your kind and positive response ❤️
Not everyone is going to worship at whatever temple you worship at or find the same value in whatever it is that you seem to believe is so valuable and crucial to your existence.
Not everyone sees the same value in the things that you seem to desperately need to define yourself by.
We have different lives and different lived experience and different paths to walk and different things we value.
Pack your privilege up and shove it in the dumpster fire of your ego where it belongs.
