Can someone explain firehose on this app? Is there trendind topics? News?
@JHills There are different tabs. Firehose is all of the Toots from everyone, Home is your friends' Toots and then there's the notification tab.

@Bruce412 @JHills I like to think of the firehose in terms of the old streaming chat rooms/systems in the late 90s... Just everyone talking and chatting and sharing and it just streams by and you just jump in and see what's going on at that moment.
Take that, and add the ability to filter into sub-chat streams using keywords...
Nothing "trending" just active chatting.
@theunabeefer @JHills I flip back and forth between Tusky and the official app, also.
@theunabeefer @JHills The desktop version is amazing, with the ability to pin topics so that you can watch certain has tags. The phone app is easier to navigate and has less bells and whistles.
