@spacesloth @theunabeefer gotta go with @spacesloth on the alcohol bit. The alcohol will actually keep your brain more active believe it or not.
Anyway....there's a ton of different disorders that can cause sleep issues. Melatonin is child's play. It's a natural substance in the brain and yeah some people take it and boom, out they go. For me, I needed some medication to help with the little racing thought issue from anxiety.
@theunabeefer TONS of people have sleep issues. I would say probably a good 1/6 people I see have something listed for sleep
