My final verdict on 'Underwater' from earlier this evening is that it was a perfectly good horror movie before they added creatures. Then it went downhill.

Claustrophobia, deep sea dangers are perfectly good scare material.

And they blew it.

@CannibalHoliday I remember a couple actors in an interview saying they were filming a Cloverfield movie, and I always felt that maybe they changed gears midway through to shove Cthulhu in instead or whatever that was... Which ruined the back third of the movie a bit.

Still enjoyed it though... But yeah, the last act felt thrown together.
