: It took four years of Trump, an insurrection, and four more years of the alt-white causing chaos and the media carrying their water for the most part to get Dems to finally grow some.
Also, I miss Ron Silver.
: Oh, and before I forget... our formerly-next, i.e., second, film has been shot down again. E. didn't give me any details, but it seems someone I thought smelled fishy was fishy AF was fishy AF and was up to fishiness... and on on his fishy own was trying to triple-deal. So the professionals who'd gone in with us bailed over his fishy shit.
This is why I hate not living in the same city and state as the rest of the company. I feel like Mike Ehrmantraut not unoften. I look at people like this.
: Man, it's slated to rain all the way through the week and into next week. That means I'll have to mow the back yard twice next week, if I can do so before I head off next Thursday to housesit for seven days. The grass is so high in back that I'll have to mow at the highest setting and then again at the middle one. Crap.
: The Nazis dogwhistles are a-blowin' all over social media and other online advertising. Anyone have bets on if and when MAGA/Q/GOP will remove their masks finally and reveal their robes and hoods and/or their brown shits and SS uniforms?
And yes, this is real. So don't ask. Some say it's just a blooper due to pricing software, but they're the same folks who said all the low-slung "OK" signs being flashed by cadets, Trump advisors, administration, and campaign staff weren't white supremacist.
: The (alleged) Information Superhighway is like any other big highway. It's congested, dirty, brimming with impatience, sloppiness, and anger, and ill-maintained. The errant but predictable stupidity of the ever-too-optimistic about it in the late '80s and the'90s was, of course, that they mistook volume of information with quality of information, not to mention colossally overestimated the average person and as colossaly underestimated human nature.
: "Breaking Bad" was an excellent show and featured an astounding cast, but I gotta hand to my boy Jonathan Banks. I've been a fan of his since 1987 when I first saw him on the tv show "Wiseguy". He's one of the best actors out there, bar none. I love watching interviews with him and seeing him in shows and movies. He's one of those actors who can steal scenes while barely being in them.
