Random Note:
I have too many books on my to-read list... I mean too many to get to all of any time soon. I read 102 books in one calendar year a few years ago and not for a class or a job, and I will likely never do that shit again. It made reading stressful, that 100 goal. If I read a fairly comfortable but still somewhat ambitious 1.33 books a week for the next 52 weeks, I'd make it through not quite half, and I'll still be accumulating books, of course.

Big day hereabouts today. I've a semi-hefty bit of driving to do today. Going to a birthday party for a bestie's kiddo who just happens to be my Official Sidekick. Glad I got a good stretch over sleep overnight, not quite eleven hours.
May be able to mow the back yard when I get back, if I'm lucky. Didn't get to yestereve because a thunderstorm rolled in all unexpectedlike at 6 PM and bollocksed that plan.

: Larry Haun was legit old school. Maybe it's just something about pre-2000s carpenters, but Mr. Wagner, the senior shop teacher at my high school, was just like him, only about forty pounds heavier. Same haircut.
Nothing fancy. No "time-saving" gadgets. Talked shop as easy as breathing and could work just as quickly and just as efficiently and accurately.
: Over years past when Carlin pointed all this bullshit English-language "evolution", he got laughs and was said to be insightful and provocative.
