: My view of not so much politics and policy but the pretty easily trackable and predictable behavior of the bulk of humans about the stuff. It reminds me of the quote about how people allow their desire for perfection to destroy the good/progress they have or that could be attained or maintained. It's near-invariably powered by any combination of the Seven Deadlies and often pretty damn easily steered, as evidenced by, well,... history.
I am specifically the United States with this post.

News stories are called that because they are not always factual. During Reagan, the press dutifully repeated AD NAUSEAM about the fictional welfare QUEENS (plural) who were driving the country to financial disaster.
It was a conservative fantasy. Make believe. Fiction. A story. But it was repeated as if it were fact.
The problem is NOT that the press lies, it has for generations. The Spanish American war was fomented by Hearst with exaggerated atrocities.
: Morning is happening, and I have some errands to run after my brekkies are finished being nommed. After that, it's more domesticity, and after that I'll be going to see "Longlegs".
Yes, I know, very edgy of me. As I and others've pointed out before, I am #edgyAF. That's how I roll.
: The bullshit going in the society in general and the media in particular isn't at all about *can* Biden do the job and be good at it but rather whether or not he seems "cool" while speaking about doing the job. In the meantime, Trump's bloviating, random AF tirades get no mention and no questions.
Buncha fucksticks.
: I am traveling to see this movie, the latest from Oz Perkins, tomorrow.

I purchased the domain GovernorGregAbbott.com and created his website that tells the truth.
This letter has been on the website since yesterday and I’ve already gotten messages ordering me to take it down since it contains “Official Seal of The Governor.”
It’s still there.
