: What demographic is growing its presence on Instagram and Threads while Twitter continues self-destructing?
Yes, white supremacists, and as you may've guessed Meta/Zuckerberg are letting it slide.
@Agatha: Lots of white men aren't part of that group, but that specific group, after decades, are really feeling confident and aggressive about it.
They aren't confident. That's their problem. They're just arrogant and terrified. Scared dogs are the ones most likely to bite.
@Agatha: You may misjudge them. A lot of them are very confident and very aggressive. They're closer to power than they've been in decades, and they have easily 10% of the US federal government bureaucracy in their ranks, not to mention nearly 40% of Congress. They have radio and cable tv hosts and network owners, Elon Musk and to a large extent Mark Zuckerberg, half of Silicon Valley, and tons of cops and a large swath of the US military.
They're only scared of losing the top spot to Harris.
@thedisasterautist
My husband is a white man. He's not feeling demonized. He understands that he's not part of the asshole category that people complain about.
