: I am going to use poplar for my practice shelves and frames. Poplar's is quite likely what I'll use to build the shelves for serious when the time comes.

Once I get the shop bench up, I'll start the practice shelves and frames. That should be the weekend of the 4th or maybe the following weekend, depending on the breaks. Too much going on next week for it.
