: The basement door should be weatherproof and installed by the end of the business day today, and then I can do the weatherstripping and insulation above the door jamb in the space. Then I can check and see over the next day or two what the actual basement humidity level is when there isn’t a completely open door from underneath the front porch leading into the basement. Also, I can start assembling my little teeny woodshop downstairs. Shelves and bookcases aren’t going to build themselves.
