"Home Shopping Club" was already taken, if I remember rightly. "QVC" was what the scammers, er- channel assured customers. The target audience was lazy middle-class Oprah viewers, the elderly, the tacky, and the late-night tv crowd.
…yeah my mom shopped on the QVC… and she actually never watched Oprah or late night TV…
