"The Vigil"
I watched this today. I saw the trailer and was intrigued, not in small part that it's only PG-13. Despite it's rating, it was more genuinely suspenseful, atmospheric, creepy, well-paced, and consistent than probably two-thirds of the movies I see.
It's horror but real horror, Algernon Blackwood and M.R. James type. It's ideal for all the #spookykids.
Also, it has a message, and it delivers it well. Impressive.
