I was a junior in high school before I really learned about sarcasm, as in how to spot it... sometimes... mainly just the stuff I'd already been told was sarcasm. And once dry delivery came into vogue it got worse.

At 53, I'm way better at spotting it than I used to be, but that's me batting about .400.
