Very first things I do with any new device is turn off system sounds and autocorrect.
@Agatha: I've discussed this with Apple, and the solutions that are s'posed to work are never permanent. Not even they understand it. It was never a problem with my Android phone.
Ah well. I reckon it keeps life interesting, keeps me frosty.

@Agatha: It's just about the only problem I've had with Apple since I moved over to them back in 2012 or 2013. Far fewer problems than when I had Windows, though Win7 Pro was The Total Package as far as I am concerned. As for Android, grrrr and grumble-grumble-grumble. LOL
I was fine with Win 7 - used it on one laptop until 2023. But the world moved on. So now I'm using Linux again. ๐
