@lilyunsub: It's a quite common behavior to stress, especially stress over things they cannot but want to control.
@lilyunsub: That's happened to me since I was a kid, and it happens IRL and online. I even have had and still have people that angrily argue with me... even though I've agreed with them on whatever it is. They're just emotional, can't regulate it or often even recognize it, and have hair-triggers at targets of opportunity. it's quite common, but "polite society" writes it off, however awkwardly because, well, "everyone has bad days". The trick is that the folks invariably say things to you...
@lilyunsub: ...and about you and how they feel and what they think about you for a long time.
It's as the unknown sage said, "When people show who you they are, believe them." It's also the same as the old Roman adage, "In vino veritas," which was later phrased, "What is said when drunk has been thoroughly thought out beforehand."
@thedisasterautist its just super bizarre to literally be sitting there saying nothing and someone goes through a whole argument by themselves. Starts an argument, replies to themselves, rages out about their own replies, takes both sides of the argument and then blames me for it. All without me saying a single word. Mind boggling.
