: The same folks who always saying that anything can happen and that possibilities are endless are also the ones who accuse you, sometimes quite violently, of you lying or worse when you tell them something that happened that doesn't fit their personal and/or political narrative. Also, quite often they're the folks who exhort people not to dismiss out of hand the life experiences and perspectives of others.

^^^ That's not aimed at anyone on or any post but just something that was on my mind this morning because of some stuff I found out about some folks I know IRL just before bedtime yesternight.

The post is an observation I made way back in high school in the late 1980s.

^^^ I will also add that the aforementioned phenomenon happens just as regularly with the folks who always say that they don't care what other people believe and that it's none of their business. I've noticed far more than frequently that those folks are prone to pipe up and argue with others who share/discuss their own beliefs and personal experiences. Again, that's weird AF to me but nonetheless the experiential and observational data I have, not to mention confirmation from any, many others.
