@Museek: To the best of my knowledge, which includes reading and listening to clinical lectures, which also aren't monolithically accurate about populations but are the best we have to go on, it's a substantial problem for Aspies. Many do not recognize the cues and situations wherein such jockeying takes place, not until it's pointed out to them, which is usually well after damage is done.

Some folks actively don't play control games. Aspies often don't know how to or that it's even a thing.
