1/2: I do not like that this is true for me, but it very often is. As has been stated of me by teachers, therapists, friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances over the decades, I am "addicted to interesting." I 'live for what's interesting." Granted I find a LOT of things fascinating that others find bewilderingly obtuse, frivolous, trivial, etc., but there's something to not only have breadth but depth, even if it means exploring numerous rabbit holes as well as thoroughly trodden paths.
3/2: As the fella said, "Everything is connected to everything else." I didn't know anyone said that until I was in my thirties, but that's been my nature since I was a smol human. It isn't an autism-only thing, but there's no real doubt that my being #neuronalementatypique exacerbates that other large part of my nature.

2/2: It's how a conversation about the price of wheat can jigsaw to agricultural history to the Industrial Revolution to economics to politics to behavioral science to military history to art history to one or more historical figures and events back to behavioral science to literature to the history of navigation and astronomy to religion to mathematics to political philosophy to the history of a card game to social customs in re: drinking alcohol to industry and finance and back to wheat.
