@Linwelly: It isn't a specifically autistic trait, no, but it has been noted by some researchers that it does seem at least somewhat more common in autistics than in the neurotypical populace. Mind that neurology is a spectrum, "a fluid set" is you will, rather than a series of minutely distinct types.
@thedisasterautist I'm just curious since one of my kids might be on the spectrum (diagnosis is still in progress) but with this I'm the only one in the family, but then I'm kind of oversentitive as well, guess we're a wierd mix of traits
