Random thought of the day:
I'm so tired of the concept that "freedom of speech" means that all speech, even the worst of thoughts from the worst of people, need to be valued and respected.
You're free to say it. I'm free to dismiss it. But don't keep talking back at me even when I've walked away from a conversation. That's not you "expressing freedom", that's you craving dominance.
@Thrabalen Many think that Free to say = Free of the consequence of it. Not understanding that The Constitution and it's amendments are a contract that defines the relationship between the government & it's citizens is a huge problem. It is this simple, you can say it, the government cant arrest you for saying it, but I can choose not associate with you. I hope you are finding less need for mute and block here.
@Thrabalen I think you will find that here. I find myself looking at people going off about things that don't remotely effect them and thinking "Why do you care about this?"
