@LiberalLibrarian Vivaldi was much the same. Don't know how true it is but I read a blurb stating the he was a virtual unknown into modern times, until somebody (re)discovered his sheet music in the archives of a monastery.

Oh, not on my station, KUSC in LA. Baroque is a huge part of the playlist. The pieces are relatively short, so they fit into the rotation.
