For all the crap I took during my career as a music director, my biggest complaint with the "mainline" church is that they allowed the hucksters to steal the identity, just to chase a few of those dollars for themselves:

@t_heislen It's a horrible truth, but those of us "Christians with good intentions" (I like that) beed to not only accept it, but publicly acknowledge it, publicly turn from it and become "socially dangerous" to those who have appropriated Christ for profit.
We need to become **radically** Christ-like and risk very real persecution from Christofascists.
When people see me, they need to see Jesus.
