#StueyAndEleanorOnTour we stopped at the lovely Dalemain house for a coffee in a lovely spot. We saw a red squirrel 🐿️ but we weren't quick enough to get a photo.

@KazzyH Dalemain started life as a defensive farm house and once the border with Scotland was fixed in the 1700s it grew into a substantial home with the current owners still living there.

@KazzyH I have noticed over the past 10 years that big houses have a growing number of fundraiser events for local community charities.
My parents and others got involved in a gigantic #ceramic #Daffodils event and I have 1 of them in my home garden back in Devon
@stueytheround l find red squirrels here hard to catch in a photograph too. They'll scold you or even pose from just out of phone camera range ( toronto, ontario)
