In the central/midwest of the US lives a fucker of a spider that rivals any nightmare killing animal the Aussies have to offer. It’s called a Brown Recluse, and their bite is as painful and necrotic as hell. Depending on the bite location, it can easily kill a person.

My friend was bitten Friday on his shoulder and his torso is inflamed red and has a dead meat cavity at the bite location. He’ll be okay in time, but daaaaamn.
