Listening to Deep Purple's Machine Head on streaming and it includes "When A Blind Man Cries" as the final song. Thing is, I grew up with the vinyl so to me, Machine Head should end with Space Truckin.
WABC was always *meant* to be on Machine Head.
It belongs with the rest of those songs but somewhere else in the playing order. The trouble is, I can't quite decide *where* it should go.

Maybe after Pictures of Home?

What do you think?

@stueytheround I think the album is complete as is (Just listened to it today)

@Treebugz Just to clarify, with or without blind man?

@stueytheround Without. And, I had forgotten just how good that album is. Gonna have to see if I can find it on vinyl.

@Treebugz I still have mine.
The point is that Blind Man was recorded in the same Geneva sessions as the rest of Machine Head and the only reason it was left out is the technical limit of recording to vinyl. There simply wasn't room, so the digital versions which include it are officially sanctioned by the band and not just some music industry money making trick.

Yet having listened to the original *so often* it just feels out of place.
