Scrubbing Comments and Geolocation makes sense, but scrubbing Orientation doesn't quite make as much sense.

Most digital cameras record the RAW data as the camera sensor sees and records it. JPEG and MPEG usually follow the RAW format but use EXIF to manage Orientation.

@TayledrasChi The *really* easy fix is to always take your pictures in landscape mode.
If you then want portrait orientation, a crop will not lose enough image quality to make an appreciable difference on social media, since the requirement for digital media is only 75dpi compared to 300dpi for print.
So yeah. If you're using your phone camera, just hold it horizontally and it will always post the right way up.
It's easier for coso to remove *all* exif data than to be selective.
