The official release date for Appetite for Destruction is 1987.
Sweet Child O Mine was the 3rd or 4th single released in the UK.
So, how come when I bought the album on release and I listened to SCOM before the single was released, I already knew it? Maybe the single was released earlier in the States and I heard it on the radio? Maybe Tommy Vance played it as some "Upcoming band" thing on The Friday Rock Show. Or maybe it's a false memory.
