We have new people in the flat above me.
He's called Mohammed but I didn't speak to his wife.
I'm asssuming for now that they're Muslim.
Dropped a big piece of home-made chocolate cake at their door with a welcome note and a list of ingredients in case it contains anything they'd prefer to avoid.
I hope they feel the love.
@NiveusLepus There were eggs. I hope they're not vegan 🤣
@stueytheround I've met more than few Muslims, but never a vegan Muslim. They no doubt must exist, I figure.
I think the more decisive factor will be if they keep Halal and the rules surrounding such.
@NiveusLepus That's what I presumed.
@stueytheround Even if I could not eat the cake, I would be moved by the sentiment that called said cake into being.
Luckily I have my two Guys here who would devour any cake if given sufficient reason/access to do so.
@NiveusLepus Heheh!
@stueytheround you can be my neighbor any time💙
@stueytheround Well aren't you just the nicest person ever 😁
@MarvelousMadi13 No! 🤣 but I try!
@stueytheround We def need more Stuey's in the world!
@MarvelousMadi13 ❤️❤️
@stueytheround It is usually beef gelatin that raises red flags for strict moslems. What a nice thing to do!
Result if you get some Asian sweets in return.
After their fasts they know how to celebrate 😄
@stueytheround That is so delightful! I would feel loved. I made a gift for a new neighbor 2 years ago, not as sweet as yours. Saw him wearing a Green Bay Packers hat so the day before they played my team ( #49ers), I picked up some Wisconsin cheese & put in a little bag with a note, "Good luck to your team!" Left it on the doorstep.
@wolfwoman Lovely!
@stueytheround Speaking soley as a Vegan, this would make me feel loved.
