@stueytheround I don't wonder about intelligent life here on Earth. I realized that intelligence isn't necessarily the problem. It's sapience that is the problem.

You can be intelligent, and it'll show you how to build a car. It's sapience that tells you not to run over your neighbors, or not drive over cliffs.

Humanity has a wisdom problem, not an intelligence problem.

Think of how the average person manages to survive the day. Now think, half of all people are smarter than that.
