Hang on a second here.
If Twitter is having the algorithm not only make it an offense against ToS to as much as *mention* other SM platforms inlcluding (and this is really important) those owned by the Meta group, but also falsely flagging them as *malware*, how long before Zuck sues Musk into oblivion for defamation?
Is Musk committing financial suicide by internet? It's beginning to seem like deliberate self-harm at this point.
@MrGoat
Financially no, but in terms of the company's reputation and taking out a rival?
Billionaires at war?
I just want to know how much popcorn to order in! 🤣
@stueytheround probably take years to play out given the amount of bs they'd have to dig through - or could be a real quick like case and settled non financially but with an agreement to stop.
@stueytheround He lives in where - Kauai, Hawaii? Also Facebook/Meta isn't seeking a following as they're already built.
@stueytheround Personally i think he's too effing stupid to consider any of that shit. If we have learned nothing else about the man in the last couple of months (before then really, but especially so within that time) it's that he's a really shitty chess player that can't plan ahead.
@stueytheround
That would be nice unfortunately its likely the Meta lawyers are well aware of the fluidity w/regard to TOS violations around "promotion" violations.
Its likely FB also says essentially "no Spam, and we decide what is spam", in its TOS as well.
@stueytheround Yeah, this is a question. Is he simply blocking and removing them or is he libeling them like he is doing with us.
FB/Meta has the size of legal team to fight back.
This could get interesting.
@stueytheround It has always been deliberate self harm. He bought it to break it.
@stueytheround Zuck is probably not even worried about it. >.>
