New Muse album, Will of the People first impressions.
I'm hearing influences as diverse as Queen, TRex, Alice Cooper and even a bit of MCR, yet through it all (I swear there's a bit of ABBA in there too!) it's still uniquely Muse. The classical music touches are there as usual too.
When it gets heavy, it gets PROPERLY heavy and the melodies are delightful in the quieter moments.
It'll need several listens to pick favourite tracks, but so far, it's a winner for me.

Reminds me a lot of my favourite Xtian Metal band Demon Hunter but again, it's still pure Muse.
Epic guitar noodling and even some proper metal growling!
