Sivyj Yar - The Dawns Were Drifting as Before
Сивый Яр - Как Прежде Плыли Зори
Sivyj Yar (an ancient deity of the Slavs) is a one-man band from Russia. The lyrics are based on Slavonic mythology and poetry. These are the songs about those who have gone into oblivion, the memories of whom has been lost.
Der Weg Einer Freiheit - Letzte Sonne
Anaal Nathrakh - Vanitas - You Can't Save Me, So Stop Fucking Trying
Knight Terror - Conjuring a Death Creature - Tempest of Death
I saw Arch Enemy (finally) last week. They put on a powerhouse of a show. Highly recommended.
I miss Necros Christos.
Necros Christos - Domedon Doxomedon (Full and final album)
Gnaw Their Tongues - Reeking, Pained and Shuddering - Nihilism Tied Up and Burning
Wow, I think this might be All Hell's best album today. And to think it's been sitting in my pile for about a month. https://allhell.bandcamp.com/
Now playing, All Hell's The Witch's Grail. They're an unsigned band, but you can find them on Bandcamp (https://allhell.bandcamp.com/). This is a solid mix of death and thrash. One of their members is active on Reddit, and has an astounding knowledge of metal which he freely shares. I can't help but support that dude. I'd love to see them live. Check them out.
Currently listening to Korn's latest, The Nothing. It's really good stuff, better than I'd hoped. (I know, I'm so far behind, and my upcoming vacation will not help. I've got stacks waiting for me. First world problems.)

Here's that Gamma Ray cover song, it's a Sin, set to a Game of Thrones video. Not bad. Those guys kill this song.
Ghost is often classified as metal, and I'm not one to argue subjective things. But in my subjective world, Ghost is hard rock with a metal presence. They present as metal while playing hard rock/pop rock. The same argument applies to Lordi. Great stuff, no doubt, but not metal in my world.

One day, I arrived to work and he was baking in his car, waiting to go on the clock. As I walked past, he rolled down the window and told me to get in. Always down for a free high, I jumped in. He was rewinding a cassette tape and said he wanted me to hear something.
Ozzy Osbourne - Blizzard of Oz - Mr. Crowley
Part 2 of 2.
Around 1981, I had a job delivering beds. It was an easy job, probably one of my favorites. I went to high school with a guy who got me the job, and I'll always be indebted to him for that. He was a true pot head and a good friend. We spent a lot of time together, and I don't think he was sober (not high) for more than 10 hours during our 3 year relationship. (I really miss him.)
