Usually the phrase "folk metal" ends up referring to a Viking Metal band or some band from the Norway/Sweden/Finland area. Cemican, hailing from Mexico, is challenging that:

Yay! Glad you're liking it. I just found them yesterday. They've been around for at least a decade. They have some stuff on Bandcamp, if you're into that.
