We have yet to see how this plays out, but her grounds for having dismissed that case are "absurd and fantastic" as Tony Stark would put it.
I suspect this is taken a while because an appeals court can't really put out an opinion saying, "Are you insane, an idiot, or both?"
There are reams of district judgeships to be filled, there's ONE Attorney General. The one thing is not the other.
Nominations for open seats on the bench come from the White House, so when a Rethuglican is in charge, you end up with bad judges. It's a sad fact.
Believe it or not, there are worse ones than Cannon that got installed by Dickless. Check out Matthew Kacsmaryk.
She's also never managed an organization of any size at all. The Department of Justice has 115 THOUSAND employees.

Ell oh ell. They'd better hope they get seventy-five seats in the Senate, or that's going to go nowhere at all.
Cannon's got a whole seven years' experience as a prosecutor, she's grossly unqualified.
Also, if she gives up a lifetime job on the bench, at least if she doesn't keep fucking herself over, for a limited-time term running the DoJ, she's even dumber than I already think she it.
