Well it's certainly great to read there is some good news when it comes to election reforms across America.
I'll take all the good news I can get.

@NiveusLepus
Ah, thank you. But not so wise, I think, as having experience that good things can happen when we pause our frantic life styles and engage the brain and emotions away from all the noise.
@NiveusLepus
Well there is certainly much to feel somber and reflective about. So embrace your feelings. Who knows what revelations might surface.
Come on news media!@#$%
Enough with the horse race horse shit presidential election coverage.
No one is ahead. It's not a race.
Just cover the campaigns and the issues and we (THE VOTERS) will decide (ON ELECTION DAY).

September! 🙂
What a wonderful time of the year. It's a great time for strategic thinking. I came across this one yesterday. I hope it inspires you, as it does me.

10 months ago 9/10. Only a handful of 29K followed me. 90% left within a month.
No regrets whatsoever.
@LlamaMountainStudioArts
No. Not at all. I was just appreciating that we have an amicable service here - very different than other notable social media.
@LlamaMountainStudioArts
Yes, it's their right to keep running for office until they die and serve if (re)elected.
It's also my right to call for them to retire and state my reasons why.
On this platform we both get to register our opinions.
And when we do that without daemonizing each other personally, everyone wins.
@TrueBloodNet
I don't care how old people are or whether they walk with a cane or need a wheelchair. I do care if they are clear headed, can clearly communicate, and have not been in office for 50 years.
That's what I want in my Senator. It's not an age thing. Ability and fresh thinking are the job requirements.
@LlamaMountainStudioArts
Respectfully, I am certainly not trying to do that.
Some of these people have been in public service for over 50 years. For a variety of reasons I believe Democracy works best when we continually have new people and new ideas in positions of public service.
I've included both Republicans and Democrats on my list. I'm strong supporters of a couple of these names.
Our democracy could fall in the next 18 months. A congressional reelection rate of 98% is not healthy.
Dear:
Mitch McConnell
Joe Biden
Bernie Sanders
Chuck Grassley
Dianne Feinstein,
Thank you for your service (well, most of you). Please have the courage and honesty to make way for the future. It's now time for the coming generations to take the reins of leadership.
Knowing when your time has passed demonstrates wisdom and courage.
Clinging to power is selfish and weak.
Serve your country a final time by showing us how to retire with grace and dignity.

Ok, so the notoriously conservative Catholic Church tried, convicted and defrocked him for sexually abusing minors over decades, but the US criminal justice system can't?
This doesn't seem a satisfying result at all.

She's a leader. If she decides to dump "X", it just might "break the dam" and start a very significant migration.
Let's hope so, right?

Doesn't seem like secular or religious justice to me.
And some wonder why there's declining confidence in our judicial system.

I don't understand this. 😮
