That's what I thought too. But Cannon has already issued orders about the lawyers getting there necessary security clearances. So I thought she was fully engaged.
@sloudermilk I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but, if the article is accurate, there's now no doubt that he wasted a year. It took the #J6Committee to prod him into action -- which perhaps was the intent of the Committee all along.

That's good. But can someone explain to me why this order wouldn't have come from Judge Aileen Cannon?
"Garland and the deputy attorney general, Lisa Monaco, charted a cautious course aimed at restoring public trust in the department while some prosecutors below them chafed, feeling top officials were shying away from looking at evidence of potential crimes by Trump and those close to him ..."
For years I've been irritated by why Iowa & New Hampshire, with their small populations which don't represent the country very well, were showered attention on their primary elections. And Iowa's caucus is just ridiculous.
Now it's great to see they will likely be excluded at the Democratic convention next year. The newly organized Democratic primary calendar is a BiG improvement.

The simple ways in which we can enjoy this beautiful world are far too often overlooked.
Thank you.

I went for a long walk in the pouring rain this morning, savoring the sound and solitude the heavy rainfall afforded.
I encountered only two other people--a parent with their toddler, crouched over the impromptu river flowing down the edge of the street.
They were placing grass stems and leaves to watch them swirl away.
Their simple enjoyment of observing nature was wholesome and very sweet, and gave me #hope
