Seems that almost All news websites, whether conservative or liberal, carry the exact same stories. They follow the same damn script.
@BillieBun They're owned by a small handful of oligarchs, and most news comes from the same sources.
There's almost no local news outlets that haven't been bought up so they can parrot whatever the messaging is from on high.
The same is true with newspapers. I cancelled the NYT, WApost... but the Seattle Times is now filled with articles from them! Very few local stories- so just cancelled them.
I do think The Guardian is doing a good job in reporting the good, the bad & the political. So I read that online.
I've been reading the Guardian for a long time. They've stuck by their values of honesty in reporting, and being a progressive voice.
They are funded and run by a non profit based foundation, not shareholders and advertisers.
Been that way for 200 something years.
