"Free speech" in America does (and should not) be 100% free of restrictions. There are things which Americans should not be free to say.
Advocating genocide against any group.
Threatening physical harm of public officials, court officials, or trial witnesses.
There are other examples.
The former Univ of Pennsylvania President and the former 45th U.S. President have demonstrated their lack of understanding as well as their lack of morals concerning this issue.

Let’s not give her credit for resigning. No doubt the board requested it after learning a major donor had withdrawn his $100M contribution to Penn.
