The (Detroit) QB drops back, he steps up, his arm comes forward and flings the ball up field as he loses his grip on the ball. It falls to the ground in front of the receiver.
Incomplete pass -- right? You can tell because the ball flew through the air in the trajectory of his arm motion.
Nooooo. Not in today's NFL where every play is over analyzed instead of just calling it what it looks like.
