But, I'm sad to say that seat will flip from blue to red unless the Dems can pull a rabbit out of the hat. Then again, how will we notice?
When I grew up in the 60s and 70s, West Virginia was solidly Democratic.
It pains me to see the State's residents have lost their way. And I don't even know why.

People voting against their own self interest always makes me feel bad.
@sloudermilk Grievance Merchants convinced them their problems were caused by the 'other'. They stopped looking for solutions but rather another group to blame.

@sloudermilk I mean, if the seat is replaced with a Republican, that will kind of be business as usual, right?
I bet you'll find that part of why the residents seem to have lost their way is because what they've actually lost is their votes.
Don't feel bad, he might be a "Democrat", but this state has been and would remain Red, whether Manchin ran/won office or not.
