100% agreed. The GOP is now the American Fascist Party. Gingrich started all the budget/shutdown insanity. But it's not just the GOP.
The government is very much broken.
Outdated and stupid Senate rules that allow a minority to control issues and even a single Senator to stop legislative business, are a prime example.
Add the dawdling of the DOJ for 2 years before getting serious about bringing Trump to justice and you get my point.
