My first memorable pop hit.
When I say pop hit, I mean the song that I personally wore out the novelty of when I was done, not just ones I heard in passing that were pop hits (for me, ones like 409, Georgy Girl, etc).
The Jackson 5 - I Want You Back
They were some of my favorites. Osmond Brothers, not so much.
It always seemed odd to me growing up, how I could listen to a Jackson 5 hit and then easily switch to a Moody Blues tune.😉

LOL, I know exactly what you mean! I used to enjoy freaking my heavy metal friends out by putting on some Miles Davis. 😂

I love the Jackson 5! I always thought the name of that was Give Me One More Chance, just because it's so prominent in the lyrics.
One of my old favorites is Blame It On The Boogie. A little later than I Want You Back and ABC, but still at their peak.
