@CovidDataReport a couple months ago this was predicted. The experts also predict that Covid will spike significantly by mid-November and just in time for thanksgiving.

I'm not ready for what's coming, but that doesn't matter. It's coming whether I'm ready or not.

All I can do is keep calm and stand stoic with a clear mind to assess a strategic counter move.

Will the best plan be to flee? Or, to stand up and fight?

@etakeh I think it’s basically global authoritarians have decided this “meddling democracy” stuff has become a nuisance and possible threat to their unchecked power. So they’re basically stomping it out. And, we’re letting them. Though, I don’t know anything we could actually do about it short of massive public revolt in the streets. And we know that ain’t coming… especially with the Holidays just around the corner ;)

@etakeh I’ve been eyeballing remote places to head to when it hits the fan - though I doubt there will be anywhere remote enough to be truly immune.

If the masses would finally wake up, we’d have a chance. I just don’t see that happening. Most people will keep their heads down and comply with the hostile takeover of democracy

@TheDeepBlueFox it’s terrifying considering also that Saudis 100% own some of the largest refineries here in Texas - and we are selling them our most advanced weapons that they could possibly use against us if we don’t comply

@Silea that makes me sick to my stomach - every time I read something like this I remember that Bush senior cleared the airspace for Saudi royals to flee after 9/11 when no one else could fly. Most insidious bone saw level evil going back decades seems to be traced to oil greed & Saudis

@etakeh I didn’t think about that, but yeah. I had thought social networks should be somehow regulated for the community whole as a public utility.. but I can’t see that working out so well either. Especially when fascists take control and gut entities like the EPA. CDC, and FDA
