The dawn briefly interrupted my quiet introspection. I noticed the soft but rich colors out of the corner of my eye and stopped. Momentarily distracted, I tried to figure out where I had been in thought again. It had escaped me. My only thought was the realization I was missing something important. I was about to miss the sunrise and decided to give it my attention. The colors began to intensify briefly until completely washed out by the white light beginning of a new day.
