I’ve stopped responding to polls. I hope other Democrats will do the same. If we’re underrepresented in polling then the other camp will get a nasty surprise and won’t use their campaign spend correctly. #politics #hackthepolls
@Graci Fair point, but I doubt we'd get perfect compliance; I don't want to see the polls skewing too far toward VP Harris. That could rescue a bunch of borderline districts by having the GOP come back and fight when they think they're safe. Anyway, it's all just a thought experiment since even if all the Nauts took me up on it, no shift would likely happen.
Unfortunately, I'm more worried about the number of deluded Trump supporters who think he's obviously going to win, because everyone w̶h̶o̶ i̶s̶n̶'t̶ a̶v̶o̶i̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ t̶h̶e̶m̶ who they associate with also supports Trump. If (when, I hope) they learn he lost, they will conclude the election was stolen, and no rules apply any longer.
@sfleetucker I believe a close poll is to our advantage. When it skews too much either way, there are people who are less motivated to vote because "it won't matter".
