damnit get vaccinated and wear a mask! 😡Yeah, I’m tired of wearing it, especially having to wear glasses but I’d rather deal with the annoyance of the mask than be hacking up a lung.
My 77 year old mother was diagnosed with influenza yesterday. Neither she nor the recent home health aide wear a mask around each other. Me? You sure as hell know I am cause I’ve got asthma & other immune issues.
This sign was on my doctors wall in the exam room yesterday. A totally preventable problem. 🤬

@sfleetucker I’ve been meaning to get the Omichron booster. Must schedule ASAP since The White House is ending funding for the vaccines the first of the year. 🤬
my $0.02? this is a terrific idea.
they are saying that this [bivalent] booster is much more effective against the current [omicron] strains.
so yes, i think now is the time for those who are willing to be vaxed to go get vaxed.
@grapho @sfleetucker Omichron hit me in July, despite having just gotten the 2nd booster in May. Ended up in the hospital for 3 days. I’ve been so damn busy since moving back to Albuquerque in September.
