I'm feeling very raw today, and if it hadn't been for Maddie yowling in my face & whacking my head,(yep, she's now hitting me, instead of gently patting), I would have stayed in bed. I was going to text my bestie & tell her I wasn't feeling well, & I need to cancel our hanging out today.

After feeding the monsters, I got some ice out of the dispenser & saw Smits gazing up at me. I took a couple of cubes and tossed them spinning across the floor, And a smile appeared. 💖
