Smitty is slowly getting accustomed to the cone and not bumping into stuff quite as much. Now if there was a way to help him relax when I give him the Prozac. 😞 He’s rebelling more and more now when I go to open his mouth and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried about getting bit.

This lil shit, Midori, had to start taking Prozac daily about 2 wks ago. She is NOT a fan of pilling. But a few licks of one of these, scruff her, pop the pill, and let her have a little more, she's good as gold.
I give her and Maddie Churus, which they gobble up in seconds flat. Sometimes I just squeeze them into their bowls and other times I hold the tube and let them lap it straight from it.
If I'm understanding correctly, as Midori is licking the treat, you open her mouth wider and pop the pill in?
I thought about the Greenies Pill Pockets but something tells me he'll just eat around the pill.

You are correct. I let the 'sauce' dribble a little down the side of the pouch, set the pouch down, she keeps lickin, I scrunch her, pop in the pill, she swallow and gives me a WTF look, and I squeeze out a little more as a thank you. The first night, we put it in a piece of shrimp and she ate around it, lil fucker
