Unpopular working theory:
Satan/Calamity pays for the misdeeds in advance.
Fck #billionaires. Sooo hard. With a bus.
Let’s ask @AskTheDevil
@see_the_sus @BosmangBeratna I'm not sure I understand the question. Are we asking if I purchase the evil acts in advance as a service, or are we suggesting I should start making evildoers pay up-front for their misdeeds?
I am now asking both. Lol
@BosmangBeratna @see_the_sus To the first: I suppose in the karmic sense, I have purchased connections to to any of the people I interacted with, and have "bad" karma from when I behaved wrongly and caused harm - like everyone else.
However, it is my nature to find and accost evil, not create it. Other than by sometimes doing stupid things. Like everyone else.
To the second, I don't want to be Minority Report Satan. But I'd prefer we prevented evil before it takes root.
: )
I fell in love with you in 12th grade when I choose Paradise Lost as my senior paper. I had little clue what it was about, only that the brief BRIEF synopsis my English teacher had written up was that it had something to do with fallen angels. I was still stuck in the Catholic Church due to my parents and so this topic intrigued me, although I’m still intrigued by this part of the Bible.
Do you mean the TV series? I recall the movies showing him as always being aware of his evilness. The first flick, while didn't have Damien exactly saying anything that indicated he knew, his behhaviour and facial expressions sure told me he knew.
Right, I understood. Or at least I think I'm understanding. My point was that he knew before he became a teenager.
@see_the_sus @BosmangBeratna I personally just think that was poor writing continuity - they were just thrillers, after all.
But then, they do say that we're born knowing things we're then taught to forget, but can rediscover.
@BosmangBeratna @see_the_sus I'm with that.
@see_the_sus @BosmangBeratna I'm thinking of the second one, where he was a teenager.
