A cup of coffee, a toasted English Muffin, and Queen Mads help encourage me on, yet, another grey day.

@see_the_sus Not Queen Mab right? She's not to be trifled with, nor are any of the fae. Invite her to breakfast but be alert for trickery and glamour. 🙂

@pr10n

😂 Nah, not that queen. Not so sure I’d want that Irish fairy over for tea. 😄 Or is she Welsh? I’ve never been sure.

@see_the_sus Good question, I found this: "Queen Mab seems to be Shakespeare’s invention as a title for a fairy queen – or quean, prostitute; she’s immediately undermined – no tinsel fairy this – and indeed fairy could mean witch or hag..."

But Jim Butcher makes her into an anti-hero with tremendous power and commensurate disdain for humans.

@pr10n

From what I’ve read about faeries is that they’re not all that keen on humans, in general.

@pr10n

Funny how all other creatures are smarter than humans. 😏
